After the learning curve, it's great how I can feel capable of punishing people for bad habits.

Each fight feels unique and I Can learn so much in practice mode.


The body punching may need a little nerfing, but overall great job devs.

I can't post a thread on here so I'll write it here hoping it'll catch the attention of the devs. My Career mode is broken, at least for me. I can't advance to the 2nd fight after my first win in WFA. After I win I press "simulate recovery" to access fight offer and get my next fight going, but the game literally freezes and the menu music stops. It says "simulating recovery" but stays at 0%. I'm still able to access my consoles menu when this happens so I know it's not my console but the game itself. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and this hasn't solved the problem. Somebody PLEASE help!

yes ufc 3 is far better than ufc 2 in every way and has far better stand up than overrated fight night champion.

I've read this a couple of times on the forum. There's no fix known, people just start again and hope it doesn't happen.

Only happens after your first fight though. So once you get passed that and it hasn't frozen your career is good to go.

So you're saying I have to recreate my character and win my first fight over again on Pro difficulty just to hope that the game won't freeze on me when I simulate recovery? If this is a known issue then why haven't the devs jumped on this IMMEDIATELY? It's a serious problem! I have already restarted my career three times now!

3 is much better than 2. We can argue some things didn’t get much better, but some did and nothing got worse.

Problem is, where is it better? Stand up fighting, and that's about it.

Career Mode is a disappointment, and not much of an upgrade compared to UFC 2. So best case scenario that's a push.

Offline modes are almost the same, they added Tourney mode and the Stand and Bang/Submission, but those two are only brief distractions. Tourney mode is decent. But either way, this isn't much of an upgrade over UFC 2.

CAF is still dreadful and near-unchanged from UFC 2.

Presentation is near-identical to UFC 2.

I won't comment on online/Ultimate Team because I don't play them.

So yeah, what's really much better? The stand up is a lot better, sure. But if they really wanted to impress, you would be seeing things like refs finally being involved in the game. New animations on the ground and clinch and takedowns. I feel that if you went to so much trouble to update striking, you REALLY should have went all the way and at least updated Clinch as well, since it factors so heavily into striking. Ground game could remain the same system, but it still should have been updated with a lot of new animations instead of 95% recycled from UFC 2.

I'm sorry to feed the trolls by saying this, but yeah, too much of the game is a copy and paste from UFC 2. For all of the new stuff they gave us with stand up, it's JUST stand up. They didn't spread the wealth around enough. While I like the game, I still consider it a middling to slightly above average game. And it's kind of soul-crushing to know we have another two years to wait to hopefully get a clinch/ground game that syncs better with the new stand up.

godway you are playing a different game to the rest of us,i had three friends over who played a lot of ufc 2 and all agree it is a fantastic upgrade and even felt the grappling ground game was a lot smoother with new transistions not seen before so i am sorry you don't feel the same way while the rest of us are loving it,FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION rest in peace along UNDISPUTED 3.

I also agree. You will just see a lot of complaints because when people are happy, they won't say anything because there's no need to.
