Diving after knocked down opponents
Am I missing something? I'm having trouble jumping on top of the opponent after a knockdown. Only sometimes will it allow me to jump in and start ground and pound.

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
They removed it from the game no more finish the fight ground and pound do to political reasons,
If you’re striking from stand up and knock your opponent down that’s basically it you just basically walk away.. you only get it from Mount side control looks clunky and fake as heck ruins the whole experience!

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
In the last game Joe Rogan saw footage of the game and said they were unnecessary strikes on a TKO .. lol I guess they came off to barbaric now they’re gone!
That would be my guess!

The issue is...how do we do it? I've occasionally gotten to drop into that knee-on-belly position to punch them out, but it seems wildly inconsistent. 9 times out 10 I wind up in feet-on-hips.Comment

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
Look I've watched mma since the pride and tank Abbott era. It has come so far with the rules. No head butts, no soccer kicks, etc. but at the end of the day it's a barbaric sport, just like boxing. If EA doesn't want us following up on knock downs or knockouts it ruins the experience. I've seen a handful of knockouts in ufc where the fighter didn't follow up because it was a no doubter (recently Emmett/ Lamas) but it is extremely rare. It looks so stupid in this game where the opponent slowly crumples to the ground (knocked out) and you're guy is standing literally right next to him doing nothing. Let us be the judge of whether or not we think it's over and there doesn't need to be any follow up punishment!
This needs to be added in, not hitting a guy on the ground because he's in a vulnerable, defenseless position, gtfo out of here, this is fighting, you know a combat sport. So ****ing stupid and immersion breakingLast edited by wyrm187; 02-07-2018, 09:19 AM.Comment

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
The biggest one is when you drop them, they land on their stomach, you stand there throwing 1-2s trying to dive, they roll over onto their back, you still stand there then they stand upComment

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
Doesnt have to be just after a combo, drop someone and try to shoot as takedown second they stand up, usually you cantComment

Diving after knocked down opponents
You can dive between the legs after a knocked down but that’s not a finishing move you just jumping into their guard

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
FTF positions absolutely exist, there's just no consistency to what causes them or if the game will actually let you jump into the position.**** off, Nugget7211 - GPD, 2017 & 2018

Re: Diving after knocked down opponents
I got the champions addition so since last week I’ve only had maybe two actual TKO’s , that’s not the case in real MMA most fights are finished this way.
