    Did they Patch the Movement?

They are bumping and getting lost all over the place, creating mismatches all over the place. I just sit back and watch and I'm like what in the hell happened? It plays faster also.

reload your slider. this game tends to do that especially after the minor update.
    means the game's hella inconsistent.

I'm playing MyCareer right now and I've noticed that I'm losing the ball a lot and I can't go to the paint, it doesn't matter who's defending. They push me back.

is it because you will get into addicted to changing sliders until it gets perfect, which means you will end up not playing the game but playing those slider bars instead? cuz thats what i used to do too...

I noticed a difference. The game now plays very sporadic and guys were darting off at up and down speeds enough for me scroll through the 2k forum to see if anyone else noticed the change.

I'm as skeptical as it gets when guys start droning on about gameplay being affected after a patch but I've really struggled to get this game back to a playable state. It's extremely unpredictable and I've made adjustments to the sliders for a good hour or two. If it was just "too fast" this would be an easy fix but it's not just that. It's as if players go in and out of some kind of turbo.

Reloading sliders, resetting etc hasn't really helped.

            I'm at a loss here.

I can't tell you how many times I think people believe there is a problem because they read it enough here on the forum.

In this case, for myself, I noticed the issue before reading about it here. So I know its not psychosomatic on my end. After playing again last night I'm seeing the erratic movement predominantly when the CPU tries to recover defensively and when the CPU tries to iso on offense.

Basically one second they're moving slow to normal speed and then boom they dart off.

I don't feel it as much under user control but I have felt pulled in odd directions from time to time.

No, I think sliders are an individual thing. I want to play the game the devs made, not what I or someone believes that it should play like. I don't get caught up in percentages, I just play the game.

I haven't played the game or been in this forum in a while. I loaded up to play and was like what the hell is going on.

Yeah constant iso offense and super aggressive turbo by the cpu is what i'm seeing from time to time too...

To be honest i dont see any difference and i had this game since release date. The only thing i notice is new ‘ball fumbling’ animations which were already bad enough and dont get me started on the fastbreak passes where the guy catches the ball and then just drops it and it rolls out of bounds.

Re: Did they Patch the Movement?

People are finally catching on. I'm no longer insane. This happened in 2K17 too, which is why I threw that trash away. This happens all the time with this game. One day the game plays normal and 2 or 3 games later the AI is superhuman in speed and effectiveness. I have video proof of this too. It's not make believe how fast they play.

                            1. AI players move way too fast that it's unrealistic.

                            2. AI is way too efficient. Tyreke Evans is Stephen Curry all of a sudden.

                            3. AI is stuck to you like glue.

                            4. From the tip-off it's superhuman or the AI pretends to play normal the first couple of minutes and then they play at the same speed the entire game, which if this happened in real life the entire team would be dead because of cardiac arrest. There's no way anyone can play that fast for 48 minutes.

Every team you play against is affected. Another game that was perfect on launch and gets turned into trash as the patches and updates continue. I've never seen a game constantly change in gameplay like this. It's irritating. 2K18 could be the GOAT basketball game but faces the same problems 2K17 have. I'm going to play this whole weekend but I turned off the game and the 1st quarter wasn't even done.

what i definitively saw them patch is the Putback tendency. a lot of players now attempt These stupid putbacks instead of revounding the ball. most of the time it is a wasted possession as they never seem to Hit These putbacks...
