Can you imagine them doing that bunt contest in the US before or after the Homerun Derby during All Star Weekend? They'd probably set the world record for most people snoring at the same time.

I don't mind fun little minigames added to the game to pass the time, but bunting? How would we even control where the bunt goes?

What game was it that had a HR Derby type minigame where they were targets all over these fictional ballparks? Was it Triple Play?

We don’t need anymore fluff modes until they can get the game to play like actual baseball. Retro mode is bad enough when we still can’t get correct player movements or ball physics.

Yep Triple play had those target games, great fun.

I wish they'd put King of the Diamond back in the game. That would be awesome with all the legends and flashback players.

I want that arcade style hitting practice mode from MVP 2005 where we had to hit things on the field like if we were inside of a giant pinball machine. I loved that mode!

Someone brought that up the other day and I was like, "OMG, I forgot all about that....I LOVED that!" It made practicing more fun and my hitting skills really developed as a result.

One of my favorite modes was home run pinball in The Bigs. Nothing more satisfying than smashing objects with a baseball for points!

Come on, seriously? Is the game perfect? No, of course not and there is little glitches and other things that can make the game frustrating but saying the game doesn't play like actual baseball is a serious stretch. I love how people can't wait to jump in a thread to bash the game saying whatever they feel because they are upset about something.

Add modes, appeal to more and more gamers. That would be any business model is to attract new gamers and keep current gamers playing as long as possible. They work on core game play every year and improve it for the most part unless a bug or glitch applies but as far as I know, development isn't stagnated by adding little parts of the game that is worked on.
