You have to copy a 2k8 roster file from your PS3 to a thumb drive. Then put your thumb drive into your computer. There should be a folder titled PS3 on your thumb drive. Go in there and open the SAVEDATA folder, then move the unzipped 17-18 roster file (the whole BLUS30078...folder) into that SAVEDATA folder. Put your thumb drive back in your PS3 and the 17-18 roster should be there, along with the original roster file you copied in the first step I mentioned. Copy the 17-18 roster file to your PS3 using the Saved Data Utility. That's what I did to get it to work.

Re: Completed 2017-2018 Roster Update(PS3)
Here's the final rosters with the default conferences.
Also, I noticed that the forum is having an issue with attachments, I would just upload to a site like sendspace, take the download link (right click download, you need to use the link with the file extension in it) and use the "upload with link" option. That's how I was able to attach the file.
Thanks for any help guys!Comment

Re: Completed 2017-2018 Roster Update(PS3)
I'm doing my own updated rosters that I hope to have out by the second weekend of March Madness
They won't be perfect, but it'll give me a good base for next season, which will be done thoroughly, like I did with my 360 ones. That one I will come out mid December with (that way I can get proper ratings for smaller conf teams and their players). Once I get through the rosters, I will release them pre tendency/coach check that way y'all can enjoy them if you don't play career legacy.
About a week after that I will release one's with everything as best I could do in a short time with tendencies and coaches.
Side note: I make most one/two and dones Jr/Sr for recruiting purposes when you play career legacy.Comment

Same thing happened to me. Updating the rosters/game files etc is obnoxious on 360.Comment
