Re: Miami's Vice: 2017-18 Miami Heat
Heat Outlast Hornets in OT
Wade's season high 33 leads Miami to crucial win
Miami - After losing their last two games, and a date Sunday with the defending champion Warriors looming, the Miami Heat knew Friday's game against the Hornets would be a vital match-up. It took overtime to get it done, but the Heat squeaked out a 106-102 win over their division rivals. Dwyane Wade led the way for Miami with 33 points, while Hassan Whiteside put up his second straight 32 rebound performance. Miami surrendered an 8 point fourth quarter lead, but erupted for 17 in the OT period to secure the win. In an interesting note, Kemba Walker played all 53 minutes for Charlotte taking 36 shots in the game leading the Hornets with 27. Miami as mentioned before will now rest for a night before the Golden State Warriors come to American Airlines Arena Sunday.
