PS4 Pro
Is it worth it to get a PS4 Pro if I don't have a 4K TV? Is there any noticeable difference between the versions without a 4K TV?Tags: None -

Re: PS4 Pro
I have a 4K tv now, but I played on the Pro for a year or so before buying it. The performance improvements (and to a lesser extent, boost mode for non Pro-enhanced games) are quite noticeable. I will echo the poster above, though - it doesn’t become worth the money until you get a 4K tv though. I mean, are Pros still 400 bucks? Would you pay 400 bucks for some extra frames per second? Your call.

I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: PS4 Pro
Well I can tell you I can see a big difference on my 1080p plasma, but I'm also a huge framerate snob, and I play other games besides the show. Horizon: Zero Dawn really was designed to be played on the pro.

Re: PS4 Pro
That's what I've been using the last few days. I started out on faster, but the shadow jaggies over home plate were driving me crazy. Either option is perfectly fine though.Comment
