Capture Missions

I'm still working on capture mode, I still need to complete the missions for George Brett, Shawn Green, Dale Murphy, and Martinez. The George Brett one specifically is making me rage. He is by far the worst card I've had to play with. I have had good contact and good timing wiht him more times than I can count and it is still such a weak lazy fly ball, or weak ground ball. You guys have any times for these guys, or having issues of your own?

I replied to you in the other thread but that Brett card is brutal. Power swing a squared up ball and youre lucky to get a soft liner over the infielders head. Took me forever.

OMFG, can’t even begin to describe how frustrating. I hit two doubles down the left field line the first two at bats of the game the first two games I had him but couldn’t get another hit. Those are the only two times I’ve hit doubles. I’ve squared up plenty of balls with him and I’m lucky if they leave the infield.

Interestingly enough, in my first game with the George Brett card, I hit a home run with him. Still can't get 2 hits w/ 1 double in a game with him, though...

shawn green is killing me. He is the last one i need to complete and i cant steel a base with him ro save my life.

Try stealing third with him. That's how I did it, I couldn't steal second with him.

I got luck and did the Brett one quickly. I think I got lucky on a late swing that went down into the LF corner.


I still have Martinez, Karros and Green. I actually finished Green and at the end of the game got a Lost Connection error that made me actually put the game aside. I got that error too often and lost too much time to it last year.

I got lucky, yesterday my last game of the day I was able to complete George Brett, Dale Murphy, and Martinez in the same game hahaha. And I completed Shawn Green last night. So I'm completely done with the cards and I'm on two the 2nd part of the conquest missions. Which are as follows....

AL Pitching Stats: Tally 8 innings 7 K’s, & 1 win in same DD Game using AL pitchers acquired in conquest part 1.

AL Hitting Stats: Tally 7 hits, 3 R, 3 RBI's & 1 HR in same DD game using AL hitters acquired in conquest PART 1.

NL Pitching Stats: Tally 1 CG (min 8 inn), 1 win, and 7 K’s in same DD game with NL pitchers acquired in conquest part 1.

NL Hitting Stats: Tally 1 double, 2 HR's, 4 R, & 5 RBI's, in same DD game with NL hitters acquired in conquest part 1.

My question is, which players do I have to use to do these? THe one I orginally got in my first packs just starting conquest? Can I use anyone I got as conquest rewards? SO can I use the cards we had to do missiosn with, as well as the rewords like jim edmonds, adrian gonzalez etc..?

The Brett mission made me rage so many times. Once I figured out I could use all the players earned in lineups for the AL/NL rewards I put out a new lineup and it took one AB with my team to get the NL numbers. I actually gotboth AL/NL in the same game.

Highly recommend play @ Cincy for your grinding. Their staff is brutal and the ball flies in GABP.

My nightmare cards were Brandon Crawford and JD Martinez. I would NEVER get grounders to short when he's at 2nd, and when I had him behind the plate literally everything was a grounder to short. And then JD, oh JD. I could get doubles all day when the bases were empty. But if I had a runner on? Guaranteed grounder. infuriating it was
