The run game definitely needs work. There are a handful of overpowered plays and everything else is less than worthless. I've played H2H games without a single rushing attempt. It's just not worth pissing away a down in the name of "balance".

Interior runs are especially bad because a DT will blockshed almost every time. The only inside run worth anything, that I can think of off the top of my head, is the Deuce Close Wham, but if your playbook doesn't also have the stretch what's the point?

I'd also like to give a big +1 to the poster who pointed out that the AI will always call a front which counters your run play. The only way around it is to call a symmetrical formation and flip the play at the LOS. Even worse, if I come out in shotgun, and keep my run audible (usually inside zone), there is ALWAYS a three-tech lined up to that side!
