    Block health

Walking forward or not, it feels terrible. Two straight strikes followed by uppercut double hook will be the new meta. Try to sway or duck a McGregor who's endlessly spamming this and you're gonna have a bad time.

Block health was fine where it was, right now it feels the way it did after 2 rounds of absorbing GNP or clinch knees with it.

I was 1650 after my first few fights, they were fun and I was so happy with the patch. Then all of a sudden everyone has started this block breaking meta and every match ends in the first round win or lose. There's no reward for picking shots and fighting realistically, there's only reward for overwhelming your opponent and watching to see if they can sway or duck during the millisecond window they have.

Don't get me wrong, this has been the best patch so far, but I had to get off because every match is the same spam fest over and over and just not fun.

Try a major back slip after the second straight followed by a straight counter.

^^ Much easier said than done, especially with the latency issue present in most fights online.
By the time your fighter initiates the back lunge, even if you initiate it immediately after the first strike, you're already eating the 3rd or 4th strike in the combo much of the time.

Pre-emptive split-second defense rarely works in this game, and even if it did, it's not fun. It's almost impossible to react to what you see coming aside from slow head kicks.

Yo GPD, what are the controls and differences between each of the back lunges? Because they all look the same but I heard they differ in function.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I used to be able to gas champions with mid tier fighters if they spammed block breakers. Little more troublesome now but I'll keep going. Great work btw I love the work you guys are putting into this

Let's nerf head movement and nerf the block so garbage players can come forward and spam 4 hook combos over and over .. smfh

Yeah, I was wrong about the 1 2 spam, it's real and I've honestly been using it. It breaks the block very easily and it's hard not to use it. This game would be a spamfest of just coming forward and throwing combos if block is nerfed anymore. Weakening the block actually takes away any skillful aspect the standup has since people can and will just mindlessly swing whatever they can. There needs to be way more defensive & evasive mechanics first before nerfing block anymore.
