Axis Football 18 & beyond-Gathering info for their Development team

All gamers want a Development team who listens to their suggestions and feedback. This is the team you have been looking for. I have been in direct contact with the Developers of the game and they want to know what you want. Since they are now coming to PS4 & XboxOne consoles their potential fan base is huge and they want to hear from you.

Axis Football 18 is close to release but they still have time to add Community suggestions, and what can't make it this cycle will be strongly considered for the next release.

I am providing a Poll with Multiple choices and you can vote on More than one. This feedback will be crucial and followed by the Development team as I am sending them a direct link to the thread.

First and foremost in this or any sports game is gameplay. Beat the competition's game on the field and you will do well.

In terms of features I prefer the dynamics of the college game with recruiting, polls, conferences etc. For a completely generic, customiezable game since there is already a pro game on the market I think being the only game in the amateur niche would be the path to major success.

Full customization, presentation, and online play -in that order of importance. Give me a game with those things (good gameplay being a given) and I'll be a fan for life.

              This is Knightman.

For those on Steam, you know who I am.

I am trying to keep the college side of town alive via Axis.

Would love the roster help once we get the roster format available.

Go Knights. Yes we are co-champs. Suck a lollipop. Rules are rules.

One of the frustrating things for me with Axis Football 17 was the lack of an updated NFL mod - the rosters were still 2016 players. Maybe the development team can do something to incentivize modders to make up-to-date rosters (early access to the game/roster tools)?

I would happily help with rosters when that info comes out. Texas Tech and Houston for sure.

Re: Axis Football 18 & beyond-Gathering info for their Development team

Gameplay first and foremost. I see they made improvements to QB movement. Overall player interaction should be the focus now...OL vs DL, DB vs WR, ball carrier vs tackler(s) and traffic. Also how players interact with obstacles/other players while in pursuit...this goes for defenders racing to the ball or olinemen trying to reach blocking targets. ...ball carriers getting skinny through holes or shoving off the back of a lead blocker.

Just watch an All Pro Football 2k8 replay and all the subtle interactions on any given play ...it still far surpasses Madden in that regard and should be the ultimate aim for the Axis Football team.

Nail down gameplay and the enjoyment of everything else ....Franchise Mode, Customization, etc...will be greatly enhanced. APF 2k8 didn't even have a franchise mode but is hailed by many as still the best playing football game on the field.

Ok, here's how you can REALLY help. I responded via steam, but...if I were to send you an excel spreadsheet with the template, can you replace the information? The number of players are limited and you have to keep the number of positions and their placement on the template (programming requirement for the information to be "called" in game). So you need to pick the BEST players (starters and second team only, a few subs).

Doing Texas Tech and Houston would be a big help. That's a Big 12 and AAC teams that can be done right there. I'll give credit on the mod credits in steam.

Oh wow. That’s not that many players at all.

Yeah, when I get a chance in the next few days I’ll knock it out. Send away.

I have this on my Mac, and look forward to buying it for my PS4. I understand you guys are a smaller dev team. Looking forward to when you add 32 team online leagues in the future. Keep up the hard work, it will pay off!

Looking forward to the progress and taking a look at how things shake out over the summer for sure. Please also consider redoing or eliminating some of the over the top animations...usually tied to tackles. The game won't look as pretty as Madden...we know that...but if there is anyway to get rid of some of the animations that have a "Blitz" feel to them that would help immersion.
