Eve Jewell of TulaneInsider.com reports that 5-star WR Steve Mosley (6-3, 168, 4.34 40 time, #2 rated WR) has narrowed his list of school choices down to Alabama, Florida, and Tulane. The Pembroke Pines, Florida native will visit with Tulane officials this weekend at his home, according to Jewell's report, however it is believed that the defending national champion Crimson Tide currently is the favorite to land his services.
The speedy blue chip wideout, who is the nation's #28 prospect overall, could possibly compete for immediate playing time in Tulane's steadily improving offense. He'd join last year's #1 high school receiver recruit Grant Brady (80 ovr, 92 spd pre-progression) and last year's sophomore sensation Adam Lawson (83 ovr, 96 spd pre-pre-progression) to give the Green Wave one of the fastest and most potent receiving cores in the nation next fall.

Roberts (LEFT) and Dunbar (RIGHT) have both been retained for next season.
Tulane | Both coordinators to return
Wed, 28 Jan 2026 04:19:14 -0700
Dianna Russini of ESPN reports that Tulane head coach D. Geezy informed her that both offensive coordinator Joe Roberts and defensive coordinator Karl Dunbar will be returning to the team in 2026. The move, or lack thereof, marks the first time since 2023 that Tulane will return both offensive and defensive coordinators from the previous season.
The move to keep Roberts comes as no surprise. In his first year as offensive coordinator, the former Tulane running back's offense finished 7th in total points per game last season with 36.2 per contest and 21st in total yards with 5,421 on the season.
Dunbar however found himself on the hot seat late in the year, as shoddy run defense and big plays given up in the passing game became a big issue in year two of his tutelage. The former Alabama defensive line coach's defense finished ranked 104th in points given up per game, giving up 27.4 per contest last season. The team also finished the year 101st in total yards given up, with 5,080.
Geezy indicated to Russini that he did not feel Dunbar had the horses he needs in the secondary to succeed with his pressure-based 3-4 defense, something the team hopes will be changed in 2026, as the team has already signed five 4-star defensive backs to aid its secondary next fall.
Editor's Note: For those that haven't been around, this just means I will be using the same offensive playbook (Ole Miss) and same defensive playbook (3-4) from last season.
