MLB 18, 2018 Franchise Mode World Series Champions (Astros? Dodgers?)

Welp, we're over a month into the Show 18's release, probably enough time for some folks to get a season or maybe even two finished. Who are you seeing win the 2018 World Series in your franchise? Astros repeat? Dodgers revenge? I used the default roster with Baltimore and the Dodgers beat the Red Sox in 6 games to win the championship. "It was a storybook year and LA will look to repeat next year". lol Allegri.

I finished 89-73 but the AL East was brutal.

    Blue Jays 101-61 clinched division
    Red Sox 100-62 wild card
    Yankees 99-63 wild card
    Baltimore 89-73
everybody's favorite doormat this year: Rays 62-100 23-53 in the division 39 games back lol

the Nationals went 116-46, the Marlins were 59-103 57 games back!
the White Sox were actually worse than Tampa & Miami, 56-106.
The Giants took care of Washington in the post-season, then the Dodgers knocked off San Fran.
Boston put Toronto out, but then ran into L.A.'s redemption for 2017.

So, who are you seeing win the 2018 WS?

Now, time for a season in Colorado.

Ok, I know I lack the screenshot but....

The Rangers beat the Nationals in 5.

A year of firsts. I almost feel bad for the Nats.

We'll probably see quite a bit of 2018 National Championships in Show 18 lol
        I wouldn't feel too bad for'em.

2018 season: Dodgers over Boston (4-0)
2019 season: Boston over Cubs (4-3)
Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit Tigers
Pittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay Packers
          Detroit Red Wings

I play at a much slower pace than most and in fact all of my Franchise Games that my team is not involved with (the Rockies) are played as CPU vs CPU non-QC Fast Play games. So I am a long way away from knowing who will be in the playoffs and who will win the WS. But so far the results in my Franchise Season are not that far off of what is going on in the real world. Here are the division leaders and other notables.

AL East: Boston with a sizable lead on Toronto and the Yankees.
AL Central: Cleveland with a sizable lead on Kansas City followed by Minnesota.
AL West: Houston with a sizable lead on the Angels.

NL East: Washington with a small lead on Philly (Mets are struggling).
NL Central: Chicago with a small lead on Milwaukee.
NL West: Los Angeles with a decent lead on everyone else (Giants are struggling).

To me the biggest difference in my virtual Franchise and the real world is the difference between how the real world DBacks who are having a great season and the real world Dodgers who have not found their form they had last year. Everything else seems to mirror the real world fairly well. Oh and the Mets in my Season are struggling while they are playing well in the real world. But a lot can change in a 162 season. News at eleven.
