When he is losing, the game gets extremely laggy, feels very much like a lag switch, then once he is in a point where he is pretty sure he has lost - he disconnects from the game.
After the match, there is no record of what happened - it is as if the match never occurred.
He's done this multiple times to me, but I've only now started to document him doing it, yesterday he did it to me and I got screenshots:

^Match ends.

^No record of match existing.
Today he did it to me again, this time I recorded the entire match:
<iframe width ="560 height="560" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/2Y_lE0-lm78" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You can clearly see that there are points during the match where he is losing, all of a sudden there is unplayable lag, you guys can see when the lag looks glitchy in the video, but what you can't see is that everytime when that "glitchy" looking lag happens, the input delay goes through the roof for the remainder of the fight.
Then he tried to grapple (because grappling +lag = almost impossible to cancel transitions, so I'm guessing he turns on lag switch and tries to grapple/sub. Luckily he didn't manage to take me down.
Then finally he does the disconnect glitch, to preserve his online record and as you can see, again, there is no record of the match taking place.
If the developers want this game to have any ounce of integrity, then behaviour like this simply cannot be tolerated. This player needs to be punished / banned.
I do not look forward to playing him again.
