Live Tuner Set Update - May 9, 2018

Gameplay Changes

• slight reduction to the evasive retreat stamina tax
• slight buff to 5,4,3 and 1 stage submissions
• damage increase to spinning side kicks
• damage bleed through on block reduced for body kicks
• minor frame tuning for various kicks

In addition there are move set changes for the following fighters:

• Aljamain Sterling
• Dan Hooker
• Eddie Alvarez
• Jeremy Stephens
• Jon Jones
• Josh Emmett
• Yair Rodriguez
• Lyoto Machida

Went into practice and made the AI throw foward moving strikes while defending using the post and retreat animation. Feels so much better than when it was first implemented. Of course not to be spammed but the stamina reduction is satisfying imo. Great change.

There’s a huge stamina drop if you retreat into the cage

Id say they fixed the issue of people throwing head kicks in phone booth range.

I like the idea of submission buffs, want submissions to feel like a real threat again. Thanks for not buffing 2-gate submissions like flying submissions, which imo should still have more gates.

There’s a huge stamina drop if you retreat into the cage

So if you retreat in the middle of the cage it’s only a slight stamina loss, but if you retreat into the cage it’s a huge stamina drop.

Is that correct???

No elbow buff. I would love to use more lead/rear elbows but for 1 they're useless have no reach or power compared to a real life elbow and 2 hard combos will kill me for even trying.

Yeah but also varies depending on footwork

Stephen Thompson barely uses any stamina in space. Loses moderate amount if his back hits the cage.

Hendricks loses moderate amount in space but loses huge amount if his back hits the fence.

I just wish we had stumble animations if someone lunges or retreats into the fence. Allow you to block out of it but keep you from striking for a second.

I think the elbows are great if there spamming hooks block hook and elbow hits before there 2nd hook does alot of damage.

Im not sure if stamina plays apart in getting elbow in before 2nd hook?

I'm assuming this will have to do with lack of submissions for one part.
