Reserve Wideout Talley Shelved 3 Weeks

The only injury to note for today's contest is that backup wide receiver Drew Talley has been ruled out for the next three weeks with a slight abdominal tear, an injury suffered last week and aggravated in practice this week. Thanks to UConn's bye week coming up soon, though, Talley is scheduled to only miss two games - today against NC State and next week against UCF.

This is not a huge loss as UConn still has six receivers suiting up for today's game. The redshirt junior from Dunmore, PA has been largely unable to crack the starting lineup in his years with the program, but has made contributions on special teams and as sub player. He has just one catch in UConn's first two games.
