Not a football fan but have played for the first time madden 18 and must say I do like it and especially the way that the franchise work, that your players level up by how they play and what the achieve in a game. Hopefully he’ll bring some more complexity and thought in to Live 19.

That's really the main problem with Live....EA gets people who aren't basketball savvy to lead their basketball franchise (and they also get people from the same fold of their other in-house franchises). Only time will tell how well this corporate move will play out as far as Live getting back to true solid standing.

Only time will tell how well this corporate move will play out as far as Live getting back to true solid standing.

Hopefully they won’t mess up, seems like they have a lot to loose if they wanna keep it alive. Especially if you follow forums around the web. A lot of the 2k players (me included) are hoping live will get to a competitive level, as most had enough of the greedyness of 2ks VC system.

Not necessarily true out side that horrible decision to have the nhl guy run things for nba elite, they've always had guys on there staff who are ex b ball player. even Sean O'Brien played college ball. At the end of the day they just haven't had the right programmers.

thats true for the most part, not necessarily the heads of the dev team but the other more newish programmmers

I read an article from Game Informer last night about Sean Graddy taking over and it said that the new number one focus for Live and Madden is gameplay. So that's good news.
