Default Roster data extracted from roster file (attached)

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

    Spreadsheet is an excel file.

Here's to hoping we can get some help to try and get an editor created.

I was able to extract all the player data from the default rosters (PS3 version). Using my own observations, and those of Brock and others who have looked into this, most of the pertinent information is mapped out. A lot of the codes I haven't cracked (for example, sometimes they bundle 2-4 attribute settings into one or two bytes of data, but I'm hoping this will be a big step in the right direction.

The file: I left a raw version which remains in hexadecimal (hex tab) with columns labeled by offset from the first player record (I believe the absolute address is 00160192 ). Each player record is 308 bytes long

I converted the ratings and most other stuff into the "dec" sheet where you can view and sort everything. In this table I omitted all columns that contained nothing but null values.

There are still some columns I am unsure of, and I didn't find anything that resembled a team rating, but there are a couple of values I have to take a second look at.

Anyway, at the very least we have a copy of the roster ratings someone can use in examining ratings.

Thanks to Brock and others who started the work on this. Hopefully, others can build on it. I will continue working...anybody capable of building an editor will be more likely to help the more we can map out in advance.
