Looks great! I’m a long time 2K player but absolutely hated last year’s game and ended up playing Live 18 more. I can’t wait for this!

EA have done well to approach the game in a different way to 2K. NBA 2K is more about representing the NBA experience, Live is more about the getting to the NBA experience. The question I have is, does Live need the NBA license. Anyone who wants a game that represents the NBA in terms of on court & TV style presentation will surely lean towards 2K’s game. However if it’s purely a fun, albeit less realistic game of basketball then Live maybe the game. It has a far more arcade approach. That’s an observation not a criticism. I just feel EA could invest more in the game & less in its licence.

Looks like the NBA in NBA Live is secondary. This is mostly street ball.

While that probably isn't gonna over great on these forums, a lot of people I know really remember the old Street games really fondly, so there is probably a market niche for it

I hope there is another quality jump like last year. Live 18 had some pressing flaws, but it was the first playable foundation they could build off of since Live 10.

Ok, I might be jumping to Live this fall, that trailer was crazy. It looks like EA actually fixed their animations, and the graphics seemed pretty good for still using the Ignite Engine. Can't wait for Franchise/Career mode details
