In vacuum madden animations are not that terrible it’s more so the transitions to each connecting animation.
They tend to be over exaggerated, they are either to quick and fast or slow and drawn out.
Lastly the biggest one for me is feel of them in user hands, they have no weight or momentum, they just feel off, and we won’t be able to till if this is fixed or improved in Madden 19 till we have the controller in are hands.
This is why APF animations are better, not so much that they tend to look better, but they feel better when the user is controlling the player. This is what I am hoping for in Madden 19.
