There were thresholds to give players access to certain perks, for example edge rushers wouldn't instashed unless they were 90+ FMV, but the delta still mattered.

Having access to instashed wasn't gonna cut it against a 99 PBK LT because he had a 9 pt advantage in the skill role.

Thresholds were only part of the issue.
