I love me some world cup. Wish I could get this pumped for football that isn't world cup. I still say the best 30 for 30 ESPN did was the two Escobars and the 94 WC

No OS World Cup fantasy this time?
Being from the US I might actually enjoy this one more with the team watching. I like France a a minor dark horse but with that team they must be rated in the Top 4 favorites.

I've never been to a galaxy far far away but I own plenty of Star Wars shirts.

Half my family is English and I'm still not really pulling for them.

Goodness, I just realized there is a timeline where Liverpool win the Champions League and then England win the World Cup and I never speak to my Mom's family ever again.

There's a joke about my dysfunctional family in here somewhere, but I'm quite obviously pulling for Denmark to win everything so ever, so lets go lads!

I come from Italian and Dutch families, and I’m American. Super dope World Cup for my genetics.

My wife's dad is Italian, I don't think he's even planning on watching the World Cup at all.

His family is all from Naples as well, so it's been a pretty rough year.

I don't think Brazil will win, but until the Semi's I think it's a good prediction. Unsure about Croatia, I think there will be another joker in there. Time will tell.

Semi-finals are gonna be Brazil vs France and Argentina vs Germany.

I was putting Spain vs Germany in the second semi-final until yesterday, but I think they might have ruined their World Cup by firing Lopetegui in a moment like this.

And of course, Brazil champions beating Germany 8-1.

I know very little about soccer, and outside of the MLS, don't really watch any other kind(minus big matchups at the World Cup/Olympics).

What are some "must see" games this year?

Portugal-Spain on Friday, Germany-Mexico on Sunday are 2 big ones I know of, I guess Brazil-Switzerland also on Sunday as well(based on their world rankings) but outside of that, don't know any other good matchups to watch.
