Buying or Not Buying?
From watching gameplay videos I do not notice anything new this year. Looks exactly like 18. I am not buying.Tags: None -
Re: Buying or Not Buying?
I also not gonna buy on ps4 I will se how the game can be mod on pc and decide later , most features in franchise mode are just small the custom draft editor is the same last year after the draft just now you can import before the season so not much difference (and let see later if maybe custom draft gonna have bug with the draft news and storylines during season) captain doesn't impact on team morale etc, the new snapshot looks ok but is not a priority the franchise GUI menu and the new specialist positions and new skill ratings are things the should be shown on gameplay or ultimate team blog because these are not mainly franchise features, cpu franchise logic still awful like last years frachise mode all IA teams are gonna be over the cap after 3 seasons,
just hope axis football franchise mode this year has tons of new stuff to enjoy a franchise mode more than 3 seasons even the gameplay is crapLast edited by michdb8; 06-19-2018, 11:16 PM. -
Re: Buying or Not Buying?
I am not buying. I can’t support EA. I was only going to buy the game if they overhauled CFM.
Presentation is still awful (no halftime/weekly wrap up show), scouting takes no strategy at all, free agency is a joke, no training camp, injury system is flawed, contracts are bare bones simplistic, no compensatory picks, player rating are revealed as soon as you draft/sign a player (they should be unlocked during the preseason and first few weeks of the season ONLY if they play), and from what I can see, franchise mode is merely play now games all backed up to each other.
Schemes and archetypes was what we got. Thanks EA.Last edited by JDrama84; 06-19-2018, 09:52 PM.Comment

Re: Buying or Not Buying?
All it takes is a small impulse to change my mind after it launches, but as of right now it's a no buy for me. Contracts and cpu roster management were two of the top things on my wishlist and they went largely untouched. The cpu playcalling that was supposedly improved is the only thing added this year that really appeals to meComment

Re: Buying or Not Buying?
I'm buying. I enjoyed last year's game aside from the QB AI awareness, and that looks to be improved this year based on the gameplay videos I saw from EA Play. Good enough for me.Comment

Re: Buying or Not Buying?
Not buying.
I'm only interested in CFM and the "big overhaul" is nothing of the sort.
I've bought once in the last 4 years (used to buy every year).
It seems likely to me that EA will never actually improve Franchise and I'll never buy Madden again.Comment

Re: Buying or Not Buying?
I'm going to wait and play it on EA Access before deciding like I did Madden 18. I didn't buy 18 and from what I've seen in 19 it looks like a no buy especially at full price.Xbox Series X: KILLMUNGERComment
