The first thing I noticed is that the neck and arm openings on the jerseys in Live 19 are too big.

They definitely improved on the players themselves though. I thought Ariza looked phenomenal last year, and seeing it side by side with Live 19 makes Live 18's look like a cartoon.

CP3 is almost perfect, but I feel like his chin is a little too long.

Kyrie still looks a little off to me, as does Hayward.

Uniform textures look much better, and the fit around the waste looks better as well. They still have a little bit of that inflated look, but it's toned down from last year. I think it has more to do with the player bodies not being large enough underneath the jerseys. But the neck and arm openings really bother me.

Real-life Kyrie to show proper jersey fit

The number "11" always has bothered me in NBA Live. The 1's are too far apart on the back of the jerseys.

They went for the “my mom forgot to iron my clothes” look again this year unfortunately

        Players look better though

Players have evolved and they look much better now, more human.

The coloring/lighting looks a lot better. Definitely made some strides from last year.

The '18 CP3 was an embarrassment! I laughed really hard when I saw him next to the '19 one because it was so bad.

Something about Draymond Green looks really weird. It is almost like his head isn't protruding from his shoulders and that white t-shirt correctly. It doesn't look natural to me.

There are definitely faces that are more refined. They look less generic than last year. I really hope last year was a start to a sprint to a complete game and not a 5k jog to one! EA had zero expectations last year, they have high ones this year.

Improvement across the board for the most part. Better lighting and textures. Never realized how clay-like, and 'reddish' the tint was in Live 18 until these comparison shots. 2K suffered from that for a few years as well. Especially on players with darker skin tones.

Trivial, but it's still an eyesore for me that carries over from last year. Should be an easy fix, can't understand why nothing is done. If this can't be resolved, then that leaves much to be said about things that need to be addressed and refined at the game play level (which is much more complex).

About half the players look better than last year and a lot look the same and a few look worse. CP3 looks way better. Over all I would say its slightly better but normally sports games do only have a small jump in graphics ever year and with how great both 2k and live look I really dont see either of them looking that much better un till ps5 and what ever the next xbox system is called.
