Is it possible to throw the ball away, inside the pocket, above a receiver's head or in to the dirt in front of him.

I want to do this instead of taking a sack, intentional grounding, injuring my Quarterback trying to run, or forcing an interception.

I haven't played since madden 13 and it was not possible to throw the ball away in this manner. Even when I pushed the stick all the way to direct the pass away from the receiver, it was still forced into some sort of "target zone" which often lead to interceptions.
