It's hard for me to get excited of these kind of things when psychic defense is in the game.
I would love to run a triple reverse flea flicker out of a 3 TE/6 OL formation on 4th an inches, but what's the point... the AI will be waiting for it with a quarters defense.Comment

If we’re being realistic, the 49ers, Rams, Eagles, and Patriots need to be near the top of the list. Those four teams have some of the best play callers in the league.https://forums.operationsports.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2049813056Originally posted by Therebelyell626I am going to create a team called "the happy town fundament rapscallions" and hurt your already diminishing image

The Bears should have an intriguing playbook with a mix of the Chiefs offense and some spread stuff from Oregon, but when the Bears went from Lovie Smith to Marc Trestman EA didn't bother changing their playbook so it's possible they'll just keep the Bears same playbook from last year.
Last year I used the Patriots, it had a nice mix of everythingComment

Re: Early favorites for best offensive playbooks in madden 19
If the developers bring back some of the old school style heavy plays and sub formations on offense then the Ravens and Titans should be very interesting for the "exotic smashmouth" type of scheme that can be utilized to counter the lighter defenses most in the league have moved to.
These should be the two books that have all the unbalanced lines(that used to be in the game) and motion TE/H-Back stuff.
You know, if you like that kind of thing.
Otherwise I guess Ravens will be boring to most and people will use something else while having fun with Lamar.

Without having our hands on the game or even being able to view the playbooks it's really impossible to say. The "best" playbook is also hard to discuss without context, especially the roster of the team you are using.
If there's one thing I've learned in all my years of playing Madden it's that there will be plenty of good offense in the game.Comment

I think this thread is about imagining the changes based on the OCs and their schemes. Yeah we don't have our hands on the 49ers M19 playbook but it's cool to imagine how it's going to change after a season of Shanahan's magic.Without having our hands on the game or even being able to view the playbooks it's really impossible to say. The "best" playbook is also hard to discuss without context, especially the roster of the team you are using.
