Outside fighting is dead. People who have no skill can just come forward and spam hooks even more now and yet we can’t even get proper lunges to protect ourself

How come pressure fighters get whatever they want and we can’t even get proper lunges this game is catering to mindless skilless players. This is a travesty and completely ignoring the players who are actually skilled at this game.

We need to speak up you guys. If these patches go into the game if your an outside fighter you should stop playin till they hear our voices

Btw, like that the range on cage td's have been increased. Sometimes i'd shoot on a guy near the cage and i'd swear i'm gonna drive him against the cage cuz he's so close, but I don't.

You're acting like a child.

You have not been ignored.

Go back and look at all the patch notes since the beginning and tell me how many changed were done to help with outside fighting?

And when the patch spoilers come for this one that further buff outside fighting you'll still complain that it's not enough.

For what it's worth, they start working on these weeks/months in advance and maybe they wanted a more eloquent solution to combopressuring than simply nerfing the stamina.

I am going to try and stay patient till everything is out but it is quite odd that the first patch spoilers focus on buffing aggression. Things like block being weaker if you circle into a strike make logical sense but I am quite baffled by why would your strikes be weaker just because you are near the cage. Hopefully it is very literal when it says "back against the cage".

Its literally only when your fighter is fully back on the cage and you do that "square up" animation because you are so far back. So it really does make sense that you'd be at a striking disadvantage. GPD mentioned this on Twitter.
