The Value of "Legend" Fighters

I can't tell you how many posts I'm seeing on the EA Sports UFC facebook page of people claiming they are purchasing the game now that Tito, Kimbo, Cro Cop, Wanderlei and Serra have made an appearance. I hope this really does translate into a sales boost, and EA learns a lesson from this and makes legendary or iconic fighters a big part of EA Sports UFC 4.

I can speak from my own experience of purchasing the WWE games exclusively for the legends, as I don't follow the current product, but I do have memories and an attachment to the older guys like Bret Hart, Stone cold, etc.

The WWE games have made legends main aspect of their games, including over 80 playable characters from the past. I'd love to see EA do the same.

Here is who I hope is added to UFC 4 (Some fighters listed are already in the game, but I'd like to see their prime versions included)

That’s so freaking dumb. There supposed to be fun DLC add ons. Stop taking the fun out of everything. People are complaining about something that was suppose to be a cool surprise. If they lower everyone stats then they will just fade away and never be used online.

I mean seriously it’s only 5 fighters and people are going crazy like they broken the game. Ughhhhhhh.... This is why we can’t have nice things.

If we get some more UFC 3 ICON DLC then i would love Dan Hardy, Kenny Florian and Randy Couture.

Those 3 seem like a must. I would even be ok with Rich Franklin, Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar.

Keep them in ranked but for the love of god rate them properly.

Tito shouldnt be a better wrestler than Jones/Cormier. Kimbo shouldnt have a granite chin of any kind of ground game.

Right on. I'm all for seeing more legends added to the game and I'm still disappointed they didn't put Kazushi Sakuraba in the game considering he was in the last one. They got Gracie but forgot the the Gracie killer.

Dan Hardy and Couture for sure for me. I'm actually hoping we get some more throwback guys too like Don Frye, Ken Shamrock, Bas Rutten, Sakuraba, ect. Then also some prime versions of guys Shogun, Big Nog, Vitor, Coleman, Wand, Cro Cop, ect. And yh I know we just got Wand and Cro Cop, but we all know that's not their real prime versions, despite the stats. More like 2002-2006 Wand and 2003-2006 Cro Cop.

Well it's not fun at all to fight against Ortiz who is spamming transition fakes. It's not fair to fight against legend because they are extremely OP & there isn't enough legends on the game. They could make legend vs legend at ranked, but otherwise it's not fair with these rankings.

Except that they did break the game. When 2-3 fighters are so many levels above every other fighter theres no reason to pick anyone else. Literally every fight online now is against Wand or Tito players using degenerate "strategies" to cheeze out wins.

Objectively the insanely illogically OP "Icons" did in fact break the game, and it needs to be addressed.

I used to really like you Bigg Cee but your agenda to have an ultra powerful OP grappler to play as is as transparent as can be.
