I hate the Icon fighters

I've just started using Wanderlei any time I play MW because I'm most likely going to come up against him anyway. I don't see the point in making myself work harder to beat someone when I'm using a lesser fighter and end up losing against someone I should beat or having to struggle if I do win.

Love the fighters. Hate the stats.

Kimbos aiight, striking is a bit friendly.
But they all have weird buffs to areas they shouldn't and are just generally overrated.

Even my boy Cro Cop rockin' dat 94 clinch throws and 90 TD like the Olympic Freestyle Wrassler he is..

Then there's Wandy and Tito, who seem to have got to do their own stats with the only rule being "No flat out 100's"

Again, really awesome fighter additions though.
But aside from Cro Cop and Kimbo, I can't use them because as someone mentioned and nailed above. Their stats make them feel like a bad CAF.

Hate the icon fighters. If they aren't going to buff other icons like Liddell, Griffin, Shogun, Minotauro, BJ PENN then wtf is the point!

Out of all the icons, Wand's are the most ridiculous. 94 striking, like 97,98 power and speed, 96 health! 93 stamina on top. He's a tank ha.

The rest of the icons I'm okay with their stats. But I don't know why they went so crazy with Silva's. Yeah I get he was great in his prime but his stats being so high completely ruined the balance of the middleweight division. He def needs a nerf.

His only weakness is his ground game (which is still an 89 overall hah). But I use jacare souza and just get him to the ground and he's actually easily dominated and submitted (if you know what you're doing on the ground and have a fighter like souza whose ground stats are amazing).

He's been my only weapon against the parade of Silva users. Hah.

Matt Serra has way higher stats than BJ Penn all around. Are you okay with that? Tito Ortiz has way higher stats than Liddell, someone who KOed him twice. Are you okay with that?

No you're right all the icons have too buffed stats. I'm definitely not okay with it I just think that Wand is the worst in terms of just how OP they made him even compared to the other icons. But you're right their stats are still not right to me. But like, matt sera doesn't totally destroy the balance of his divison. Wand having such high stats does.

Glad to see this thread. I love that they included these guys, but it feels like fighting the final boss going against these dudes.

Yeah, it's become apparent now that the Devs are either not real hardcore fight fans, or they just don't care and want to make money. These ratings are all screwed up. Mostly for the other Icons that they have arbitrarily decided shouldn't have icon stats - Liddell, Shogun, Minotauro, BJ Penn.

Again, solution for offline is let us edit their stats.

Yeah, you can do this in WWE with a $5 add on booster pack. They should do something similar, and justify it to the execs as making money which is what they want anyway.

Yh I mean we wanted realistic prime stats and also prime models, but it is what it is. Don't know why the devs just went ahead and inflated everything, but hopefully they address them.

Tito, mirko, wandy, and Serra were all KO’d in their prime. But they all have extreme chin ratings. Why? Especially when every other stat is exaggerated ? Wandy and mirko have suspect chins and always have.
