Changing playbook to fit your scheme in Franchise

With schemes and altering/adjusting schemes being made to be one of the more important parts of franchise mode this year, is there a source to be able to change your playbook to one that matches a new scheme that you choose?

For example if you progress a few years with the Patriots and Brady retires and you change your scheme to Power Run for example because you've drafted a new powerful running back, is there a way to be able to choose the best playbook possible for your new scheme without having to choose one of the generic ones? The Patriots playbook would be more suited to the old Patriots scheme/players than the new ones, so switching playbooks to something more appropriate seems necessary.

If there is a list of which scheme every team uses as default in M19 that would be very useful.

When you chose the playbook in the Coaching Scheme it has a description for what type of plays and what formations are in each.

The one that I was confused wasn't in was the generic options. Like it said my defense was 88% compatible with a 46 Defense, but no defensive playbook was available.

And it looks like it tells you even if your players are a good fit as you scroll through the play Scheme

Considering schemes and player archetypes are some of the main additions to CFM, I'm surprised someone hasn't put together a list of each team's default scheme, or which playbooks fit best with each scheme.

There's a graphic that shows the player archetype fits for every scheme, would be great to know which playbooks fit best as well.

Am i blind or is there really no offensive playbook who fits the "vertical zone run" scheme?

During an early EA Play video, someone was scrolling through the playbooks and the Dallas Cowboys book showed vertical zone run. Check it out to see if that is still the case.

Do any of you know which offensive scheme fits the red zone wide receiver archetype?

Are there still custom playbooks in Madden 19? I love that feature.

There a handful of vertical zone run playbooks. In addition, yeah, the game does a nice job of actually describing each playbook to you when you select it. IE: Saints is I believe a multiple power run offense.

In addition to telling you it's a multiple power run offense, it says something like "utilizes a mix of short to intermediate passes and also utilizes both zone and power runs" to give you a small primer of what the playbook looks like.

Unfortunately, you can't pick a non-default playbook. IE: when you're setting your scheme, you can set a spread scheme but you can't set up the default spread playbook. You've gotta choose an official team playbook from that menu, which seems... like a major oversight. If you want a generic or custom playbook, you have to select that before you jump into a game under "advanced options."

Thanks for posting the full scheme and player archetype tables. Just to confirm, if I want to have a 4-3 defensive scheme but change my CB archetype to man, that is not possible under the current setup? If I want man, I must choose a 46 scheme?
