    Mute Voice Chat

How can I mute the Voice Chat when playing online? I disabled it in the Origin Settings, but still I can hear my opponent and my opponent hears me.

    1. I don't want to talk/listen to strangers
    2. If I play with friends I use teamspeak, so everyone hears the other double times.

Don’t believe you can right now. Hopefully it gets patched.

To fix the mic issue between the game and teamspeak use Voicemeeter Banana

      Download and install Voicemeeter Banana
      • Set Hardware Input 1 as your Mic
      • Set Hardware Input 1 to route to B1(VM Output) and B2(VM Aux Output)

      • In EA Origin Voice settings select VM Output as your Microphone
      • In Teamspeak settings set your input device to VM AUX Output. This will work in Discord as well.

For Muting either of the VM Outputs you can set a Macro within Voicemeeter.

      • In Voicemeeter open Menu then click Macrobuttons:Run on Voicemeeter Start and the macro window will pop up

      • Set first macro like this

      • Set second macro like this

Of course you can change the keyboard shortcuts to something else. You can set the macro to something like DPAD RIGHT or DPAD LEFT under the XINPUT option if you don't want to have to use your keyboard for shortcuts.

EA is supposedly "aware" of the issue.

For playing with friends I've seen this fix "Madden uses Window’s default recording device in the sounds settings. Just change the default device in there (under more in settings) and then manually set your microphone on Discord or whatever communication program you’re using"
