    Mount Puckmore

ESPN of all networks did a piece about the "mount rushmore" for every franchise in the NHL. Obviously with any kind of list there will be snubs. So anyone here want to take time making their own? I guess it can be franchise history. You can choose how you want to classify ones like Avs/Canes/Coyotes/Jets and so on. For me, I'm doing only in their respective city(so Avs without Nordiques, Coyotes only in Arizona, Jets in both eras and no Thrashers)

Mines is a combination of their overall career with the team, factoring in some stuff like stats and awards and longevity.

    Atlantic:
    Bruins-
    Habs-
    Leafs-
    Lightning-
    Panthers-
    Sabres-
    Sens-
    Wings-

    Metro:
    Canes-
    Caps-
    Devils-
    Flyers-
    Islanders-
    Jackets-
    Pens-
    Rangers-

    Central:
    Avs-
    Blues-
    Hawks-
    Jets-
    Preds-
    Stars-
    Wild-

    Pacific:
    Canucks-
    Coyotes-
    Ducks-
    Flames-
    Kings-
    Knights-
    Oilers-
    Sharks-
    Mine:
    Spoiler

There's lots of guys in NHL who'll be in contention for their teams top list.

Leafs could very well bump someone off if they are able to win a cup or two with this core.
McDavid could be on Oilers list one day
Laine will be on Jets list evenually
Eichel will be on Sabres list eventually

Naming a top four for every team is extremely excessive and very counter intuitive to comparing it to "Mount Rushmore."

Not shocking from ESPN but I don't really think there will be much of a desire to discuss it here.

That's what you get when you fire all your hockey writers and replace them with Wyshynski from Puck Daddy and Angela from The Office because they work cheap.

ESPN is this close to just posting links on their website with teaser headlines with the quality of "We tasted hotdogs at every major league baseball stadium, and the winner was....".

        Garbage in, garbage out.
