DB shading ?

Re: DB shading ?
They did fix it this year so it actually works! But as far as I know it only "works" in man coverage. It means they will play either inside or outside leverage. On each route the receiver wants to release either inside or outside and if you guess right you have a much higher chance of disrupting the route, provided the receiver doesn't beat the press.Comment

Re: DB shading ?
Same question! The offense will come out in trips right, i shade my slot cb on the slot wr left trying to take away the slant, lo and behold he runs a slant and my cb gets blown away, doesnt get a hand on or anything. Im so confused i just stopped using itComment

Re: DB shading ?
From my experience, shading outside while showing blitz or pressing is what may increase chances of slowing down a slant pattern.Comment

Re: DB shading ?
If you shade a individual WR you can choose left or right shade, im trying to figure out is it the WR left/right or the DB left/right. When i do i then go back and watch the replay, but sometimes it works, other times it dont. Inside/outside applies to all the DBs, im trying to figure out individual shading & getting it to work properlyComment

Re: DB shading ?
Yes, if you press inside and your corner has better ratings it should stop the slant, because the receiver wants to release inside. This is what I saw with a lot of testing anyway.Comment
