It's a shame this is only assigned to uniforms and not individual players.

John Stockton wore them out of personal preference.

However, beggars can't be choosers, and this is a very welcome step forward. Now let's hope for individual player short lengths next year.

I could be wrong but I thought I saw a video earlier in the week where an All-Time team had players wearing their own era's shorts, so Brandon Roy was wearing long shorts while Bill Walton was wearing short shorts. I'm wondering if that's exclusive to All-Time teams though while the rest are as you described (all or nothing).

Then again, that makes me wonder if maybe an All-Time John Stockton is hard set to have short shorts.

This is a step backwards as anytime you wear throwback jerseys all players will be in short shorts. Baffling that this just can't be an option on a per player basis on how they wear their shorts
