    Nations League discussion

I was going to just name it UEFA, but with CONCACAF Nations League set to begin for the 2019-20 season, and the Africa Cup of Nations being a thing, this can house the new normal for Interlulls, the Nations Leagues! Action is set to commence tomorrow (on ESPN2 and ESPN+!)

Thursday's slate of games includes Germany vs France, and I'm hoping Czech Republic vs Ukraine will be a good game.

Friday's docket contains Italy vs Poland, Turkey vs Russia, and footballing luminary nations Azerbaijan and Kosovo.

Saturday's fun includes England vs Spain, and the mighty Iceland vs Switzerland

Sunday will have the bloodbath of Wales vs Denmark's fully amateur team, and France vs Netherlands

Monday has a barn burner in Portugal vs Italy

Tuesday's finale sees Spain and World Cup Finalist Croatia battle, as well as the might San Marino(for FM fans) vs Luxembourg!

Wondering how the UEFA Nations League works? Me too! Thankfully you can click here

    Get hype, maybe, or not.

There's going to be plenty of barn burners in UEFA Nations League Group D.

Hopefully, it will generate some interest in those countries that are use to being buried in Euro/World Cup qualifying.

Denmark is currently playing a friendly with a bunch of amateur and futsal players you've never heard of because they are having a disagreement over image rights with their pro players.

            Surprised they only lost 3-0.

They should raise the stakes in this bottom group so all teams go all out to win.

In Tiers 1 2 and 3, the bottom 4 teams get relegated. For Tier 4 the bottom 4 should have their UEFA registration revoked. It will be a bloodbath!

But that would take away all the teams available to be drawn into a Switzerland qualifying group.

this Kazakhstan(Qazaqstan?) v Georgia game is pretty good. The teams aren't just defending with 10 players, and there's been a couple awesome goal-line clearances to keep it scoreless.

Pitiful display by Norway in their comfortable 2-0 win against Cyprus.

I hate international match break in tournaments !. I have no words for my contempt over the ridiculous attempt to draw attention to a boring product, and not least more money = Nation League - what the f ... is this ....?!. And not least why ?, yes - money, ridiculous UEFA flocked greedy people ruling from twillight zone. The whole structure is confusing for the regular man, and 3 teams groups where one team plays before the last, say that UEFA has not learned anything from the World Cup 82 Austria-Germany?!. Instead of giving those losing one match after another, but stabbing for a chance in one last opportunity group, why the hell do not just make an Euro UEFA for all countries in Europe ?, ridiculous pitiful UEFA.

It's a bit snobbish to attack one tournament because it interferes with the regular weekend schedule.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't find the format confusing at all. Not sure where all the outrage and it being confusing comes from. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

I never got what was confusing about it. I didn't understand it when I skimmed the pages during the initial announcement, but after looking at the page it was pretty difficult to not understand it. I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that people DON'T want to understand it, as there is definitely a growing resentment for the amount of internationals teams play.

Is it me or is the commentary kind of awkward on ESPN for these games?
