I don't see this build talked about much at all.

    Small Forward
    Main - post scorer
    Secondary - sharp shooter

Take smaller defenders to the post, take bigger defenders outside...

Any of you play this style?

just watched a youtube by the name of Duke Dennis make a video about this build but he made him a Power Forward...

and i have to say it looks pretty beast mode, it gets 29 badges overall. if i was into making a big man i would make that. but your build can be good too if you know how to use him. i’ve never seen anyone as a SF use post scoring as a primary. dare to be different

Will that be athletic enough to guard any position but center?

I ran this build in one of my prelude runs..

          I flipped it (P) 3PT Shooting (S) Post Scoring, made him a SG 6'7" 184 min wingspan.

Was a fun run & will most likely be my 2nd build (I main C ) I obviously had limited time running him, but a few observations

          Pros:

Can potentially score from anywhere on the court, in a variety of ways
Inside finishing is boosted from PS as secondary
29 badges - can play this build in a variety of ways based on badges + playstyle

          Cons:

(anecdotal) Min wingspan affected ability to disrupt passing lanes and contest shots
68 speed at 85 OVR which is gonna need help on D against fast athletic builds.

I had this build in 2k18, but later realized that a Shot Creating Post gives you the best badges, makes you a better athlete and you barely sacrifice on your 3point shooting.

I watched a video by Solo QueFine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKli9Gqmzng) and he scored 70 points and got a cap upgrade after just one game with this build. Like you mentioned, this is an absolute mismatch in park, especially in 2 on 2.
Making the 2K grind that much easier...

Very good build. I ran 2's earlier with a PF with the same exact build. He spaced the floor with no problem and went to work in the Post. Easy streak.

Probably it's one of the slowest and unatlhetic builds in the game, but if you won't care about that it's great.

I debated making that build. I call it the Carmelo build, never go to it in 2k18. Problem is, with 2k's logic you're about as slow as a big man even if you go small forward.

With that said, in 2k18 I ran Post Scoring/3 Point as a Center and it was pretty damn fun. Problem is, it might not work in 2k19 since 2k damn near killed 3pt shooting bigs.

My Post Scoring stretch had post ratings of 88 and a 76 standing 3. Have lit people up multiple times at 3. I'm not too sure right now, but in 2k19 I think this build only gets a 70 standing 3 now. And with random cap breakers, there's no telling when you'll get that 70. Will it be worth the effort? Don't know. Don't think I'd be good with a 70 standing 3 unless I have a good jump shot. If you feel you can shoot with a 70 rating, and if you max it out early, it may be worth it. There's decent silver shooting badges as well and if a PG has Gold passing badges, that'd help more.

Just made a Shot creating post scorer as a Center. Good build so far.

I shoot roughly 60% in Park (though I only take wide open shots after food ball movement) with a 72 3pt shoot. You’re always at the discretion of 2K’s algorithms, but you can stretch the floor depending on height and wingspan.

And yes, not an athletic build, but you only make him a SF for the better badges. You are still a PF though...
