I applied the patch to the necessary files and put it in the repatch folder, but the game crashes whenever I start a game or change to the white jaguars uniforms. Anyone else have this issue?

It works with the NPS browser since it is the original digital game. In that case you of course need the NoNpDRM plugin in your device and should put all the decrypted and patched files in ux0:rePatch/PCSE00084. Follow the link in my previous post to get more details regarding the options you have to decrypt PSVita game assets.

I believe most peoples hang ups are the decryption portion. I read online that copying those files using vitashell are considered having them decrpyted. Is that the case? If so then all we need to do is copy those files to the main Graphic patch folder and run the intended .bat file (using windows of course). Then place those back into their correct folder or do we place them all (original game content included, such as app\titleID) into the repatch folder?

To decrypt your ast files, the easiest way in my opinion is via VitaShell. Of course you can use mai and even do it directly on your computer. Please read

For those having issues with the livescreen portion. I found the best way to copy these is using the FTP option within vitashell instead of the USB connection.

I'm hoping someone could provide a screenshot of what should be in each folder. My understanding is just the items that you change such as the .ast files go into the repatch folder but I cannot get it to work either.

Below you have some pictures showing the file structure in app, patch and rePatch folders. Again, all files in ux0:app/PCSE00084 and ux0: patch/PCSE00084 are untouched. You put the decrypted and patched files in ux0:rePatch/PCSE00084.

The picture at the right low corner is an example to show you how to decrypt all the game assets in ux0:app/PCSE00084. To make it work, install the repatch and nonpdrm plugins in your device too as I mentioned in the Graphical patch release post. The point here is to be able to patch the original digital or retail game.

[B]Decrypting game assets through VitaShell[/B]

Just start VitaShell, go to [I]ux0:app[/I], highlight the game folder (PCSE00084)
and press triangle, choose "[I]Open Decrypted[/I]" and press x. Select all the
required .ast files and copy them, for example, to [I]ux0:data[/I]. Finally, transfer
those (already decrypted) .ast files to your computer (via USB, it is faster)
to be patched as explained in the graphical patch readme. Repeat the
procedure to get decrypted files from[I] ux0: patch/PCSE00084[/I].

Note: To decrypt a game cartridge, follow the previous steps but from [I]gro0:[/I]
instead of [I]ux0:app[/I].

One more time, in case you have installed a decrypted version of the game just replace (as usual keep a backup of the original files) the proper .ast files with the patched ones in ux0:app/PCSE00084. In this case, there is no need to install the repatch and nonpdrm plugins.

My advice is to download the graphical patch again (in my first upload I forgot to attach the Jaguars field) and repack. Game crashes are expected time to time at the uniform selection screen and after pressing "start" to advance to game (mostly to not say only)

Yes and updated franchise files for each team. I will release the week 1 roster update soon, most likely before Monday. Franchise files take more time but will be done in the 15-20 coming days.

Does anybody know if the cutscenes and play picking lag can be improved by overclocking? I know the official patch improved the game a lot, but do you guys know if overclocking can improve the game more a little more?

I guess overclocking could minimize the lag in cut scenes and play picking.

Madden NFL 13 PS Vita 2018 Week 1 Roster Update.

This roster update is based on roster updates kindly supplied by rogerjinx at footballidiot. Many thanks to him.

Transfer all roster update game saves to your PSVita/PSTV by following the next steps:

Spoiler

1. Download the file below named as "Madden-NFL13-PSVita-2018-WEEK1.zip" and extract its contents somewhere in your computer.
2. In game, save a roster file as 2018WEEK1.
3. By means of Vita save manager BACKUP your Madden 13 game saves. Use the most recent version (follow the link) of Vita save manager, old versions will not work above FW3.60. If you do not know what Vita save manager is please READ the instructions in the link.
   
4. Replace/overwrite the file you get in step 3 with the file from step 1. Go to the folder where Vita save manager backups the game saves for this game in your PSVita (ux0).
5. Again, by means of Vita save manager RESTORE your Madden 13 game saves.
   
6. Launch the game and load your new rosters.

Notes: Skin color of some or many players is probably wrong as I chose it randomly since I do not know the body features of all current players. Colleges have a similar issue as I first need to figure out each college with its code in the roster file. If want to help, please post in this thread all the mistakes of this kind you find.

This attached file is useful ONLY for those in HENkaku. If there are people with interest in this roster for OFW, let me know here in this thread.
