18’s MyTeam isn’t even in the same league as 19’s imo. I’ve already played more MyTeam these past 3 days than all of 18 combined.

Exactly. It's really good so far. Gameplay is very solid. Hopefully no stupid patches in the future.

Sniping although never impossible is now mostly for super dedicated ppl. Scrolling is real slow to discourage you. But at least so far enough rewards for playing the game. Although, spending money will probably get you better cards faster as every year.

Overall it's minimum 57x better than 18 haha.. For now

It's DRAMATICALLY BETTER.

Basic gameplay, particularly for online, is much much more balanced and less cheesy. Perimeter D is much more effective now, one overshoots less, change direction faster, rebuff drives better, etc. Basically: blow-by cheese is toned way down to a more appropriate level. Another big thing is that post game has been tuned to be FAR more viable. Contested fades can go in at decent rate if timed well. It's easier to get separation in the first place. Movement is more fluid, and there are some new moves that give more depth/complexity/efficacy to post offense.

Otherwise, there's the return of 3 v 3 playground, online and offline. And offline content like Weeklies will remain up, and not expire.

You nailed it; you can only make a fourth of the blow-bys you could last year, and you can make a ton more "lightly contested" post shots you couldn't.

I quit last year after a few weeks.

I enjoy it a lot so far. Great gameplay, you get rewarded for playing online, even if you lose a few games.

I'm pleasantly surprised, the gameplay is super clean yet still fun. By far the best gameplay ever for an online basketball game

this is good to hear. I was hesitant about starting it, but sounds like I'm going to be pleased.

The return of defense made me return to MyTeam again. Last year the gameplay was pure trash because of blowby abuse blablabla...Now you see how bad most players actually are.


Base line drives seems to be the new cheese currently, but you can stop it...

Yes, I think to it’s way way more “grindy” this year. I play it just to chill and like the offline part of it trying to build a team. But some of the goals to unlock stuff is insane. Especially unlocking logo design. I also think the domination is a little off as you have with the domination points. Wish they made a more single player league mode for myteam, more a cross between MyGM and myteam as I do not like playing online.

Anyone compared it to Live 19 ultimate team? Would be interesting how the compare in game modes and longevity. I know LUT doesn’t have contracts anymore which is pretty great.

2k should do something about the cheaters online Who constantly try to steal the ball, they take the fun out of the game. The defense is a Nice aprovement this year
