Can I put legends on any team?

I’m having difficulty figuring out if I can take legends and putting them on my team of choice in roster section.

They say they have over 200, I checked the legend teams, that is false.

That is a joke. It was the feature for me to buy the game this year but no way now. Another big lie by EA.

Seems like Ultimate team is the only real mode that gets to use them. Guess buying the game wasn’t good enough, you have to buy their packs to play as them too.

There's also a bunch of additional players hidden in the 3s mode. In total right now, there are 206 legends and alumni players in the game. So their claim of "over 200" is actually correct.

They may have 206 legends in the game, but obviously i'm not the only one who was tricked into believing you'd be able to put the legends on current teams. Wouldn't have wasted $60 if EA's bragging didn't seem legit. As usual, with all EA games, their claims were bogus

Really wish 2k was still making hockey games. Nba 2k makes it so easy to put the legends on current teams and just as easy to start a season with your customs rosters, WITH LEGENDS INCLUDED. F*ck EA

Is it possible to create a team and put legends in it?

I mean it could be a way to duplicate players to have a base for historic teams. Thanks for the answer it's a real feature for me to purchase the game.
