    Re: TNK NHL19 All-Star Sliders

Would love for some guys to play some test games with these and provide results, feedback, suggesstions, etc

I'm going for realism here, trying to get as long of periods as possible, board play, puck movement, set up plays, goal variety, etc

      Re: TNK NHL19 All-Star Sliders

Seems great so far TNK, used them in my Be A Pro through the memorial cup and they play great. Shots, goals, hits and everything were pretty realistic and
I didn't see any cheesy goals or anything in the games I played.

Also as someone that loves to play the cycle game, something that isn't always easy to do against the CPU I saw some great cycle plays to set up chances and goals for both my team and the opposition. Board play was good, although there were a few times when none of my teammates came down to help while the other team did but that's more than likely a game issue.

I did get called on a few tripping penalties but that was more bad decision making on my part and not a slider issue. About to start playing in the NHL and get more games in to give them a better test but from what I've seen so far they work really well in my opinion.

Any good feedback? I like the longer periods too with the most realistic gameplay. But my skill set is not very good so difficult for me to play AS.

Well....here is my thread from last year. I always make my own sliders and the thread is always fairly active. I like to post box scores to back up the kind of games I am producing with them.

Feel free to try them out for a hanful of games. I always recommend 5 to 10 games before making too much judgement on any sliders as results SHOULD vary from game to game

I use your baseball sliders as wells these for nhl and they are consistently the best I’ve played with. Nice job as always!

Updated sliders in post #1 of the thread

I have been focusing on the feel & flow of the game....needed to get things feeling and looking right with skating, passing, setting up plays, etc

Now I'm going to start focusing on penalties and go from there

I'll start posting box scores in the next couple days whenever I play a game.

My goal is to have these ready for franchise play by Opening Night of the NHL season

                Re: TNK NHL19 All-Star Sliders

Looking forward to using these slider tonight. I have used other sliders on this forum and while a lot of it worked I felt the play was a bit sloppy with my players constantly losing the puck just from skating. And I had a massively hard time scoring with so many of my shots missing the net. I will give some feedback after I play.

I'll have an update posted later tonight or in the morning to help with the penalties

Playing well and getting closer.....really happy with the way these are playing

                    TNK - TESTING GAME

Boston Bruins (ME) @ Carolina Hurricanes (CPU)
                    * Gane played using sliders in post #1 of the thread

The game was evenly played and scoreless after one period with Boston holding a 9-8 advantage in shots. The Bruins opened the scoring at 4:16 of the 2nd period on the PP when Charlie McAvoy knocked down a clearing attempt and fed Brad Marchand who walked off the side boards and snapped a wrist shot past Mrazek to give Boston the 1-0 lead. The Hurricanes would answer midway through the period when Rask stopped a shot by Martinook but Brock McGinn was there to collect the rebound and stuff it home to even the score at 1-1. Both Mrazek and Rask made huge stops late in the 2nd period to keep the game tied 1-1 after 40 minutes of play with the Hurricanes out-shooting the Bruins 20-18. The score remained tied 1-1 into the late stages of the 3rd period as both teams had chances but the goalies were playing terrific. The Bruins would go on the powerplay with 3:16 when Noel Acciari drew a hooking call on Brett Pesce. Carolina would kill off the penalty to Pesche and the would get a chance of their own on the PP when Danton Heinen was called for tripping with 1:08 remaining. Carolina would set up in the Bruins end in the final minute trying to get the game winner on the man advantage and Rask came up with a huge save on a point blank chance by Staal with under 30 seconds to play. The game was in the closing seconds when Patrice Bergeron won a battle along the wall and made a perfect pass through a seam to a streaking Brad Marchand to spring him for a breakaway and Marchand would snap the puck past Mrazek for a beautiful shorthanded goal to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead with 11 seconds to play as the Bruins win a thriller 2-1

                    NOTES
                    * The Bruins win 2-1 on a shorty from Marchand with 0:11 remaining
                    * The Sliders are playing great, things just feel good at the moment
                    * Still need to tone down the penalties (especially tripping) a bit

                      TNK - TESTING GAME

Boston Bruins (ME) @ Minnesota Wild (CPU)
                      * Game played using sliders in post #1 of the thread

                      NOTES
                      * Hard fought & physical game, both teams generated good chances
                      * Devan Dubnyk was outstanding in the Minnesota net, I couldn't beat him
                      * The Bruins had some defensive breakdown in the 2nd period and Minnesota took advantage
                      * Sliders are feeling pretty good and producing good, realistic hockey games

Good to see you back TNK...1st game:

3-1 loss at home to NJ

                        Shots NJ - 24, Edm - 27
                        PP NJ 0/4, Edm 0/2

Comments- felt slow at 1 but will get used to after a few games. NJ passing accuracy 92%...Edm 71% so I think CPU accuracy should be lowered, but only one game so will see how that goes

I've playing at 4 speed and 12 minutes and have been getting realistic results. Love playing at 4 as it better mimics the real NHL. Thought it would result in significantly more shots but exact numbers because the defensive AI is so much better this year. I even played at 15 minutes and kept AI to under 30 shots for the game. I also moved up to AS.

I may play around with game speed at 2 or 3 and see how these play
