Small issue in Franchise with Owner Goals...

playing franchise with the Leafs...one of my owner goals is to improve my Top 4 on defense...made a trade where i did obtain a top 4 defencemen but the goal is not completed...not sure why? anyone else have this happen or have an explanation as to why the goal is not completed? thanks. Go Leafs Go!

It could be that the end date for the goal is at the end of the season or at trade deadline? - worth a check.
I have had several goals over previous years titles that have been achieved, however do not get the final tick until the end date passes.

hope your right...the deadline i think is February so that could make sense...just figured if I completed it, it would get ‘checked off’...appreciate your response. thanks.

That’s an uncommon goal to see, but if I remember, you don’t get credit for the roster-related ones until the deadline date. I guess that way you can’t get a check mark and the bonus and then immediately trade away whatever you did.
