With V-sync it should lock at 60. Sometimes it might go to 59 or 61 for a second here and there, but that should be about it.

This is my rig. It plays and looks beautiful on my 49 inch 4K Samsung curved TV at 4K. Obviously only 60hz though.

GPU is actually wrong. It's 1080ti EVGA SC2.

First year playing this on PC, mostly offline gamer with few online games here and there against friends. Mods just make the experience that much better. Updated courts, cyberfaces, hair, tattoos, this is the dream.

I’m using steam to upload my saves to my laptop. Now get to take my franchise on the road. Great game!

My first year on PC, haven't played NBA2k since maybe 12-13 on console. I'd agree. Like you I don't really play online, but it really is just such a good game overall. I'm really amazed at how deep the gameplay is and how much there is to learn.

Also, if you're into retro teams and certain era's, you may also check out NBA 2K14. The URB is still being updated to this day.

                  Re: Worth it on PC?

Bought the SE on PS4 and, despite vowing not to get it this year on PC, succumbed yet again...

The mods just make the game feel SO fresh every few days...PS4 version already feels 'old'.

Especially as I am using Philly for a season and half their faces were really bad before mods / 2K got most of them wrong.

If I buy this game for PC directly from the 2k website (it's on sale today) does it load through Steam or do I have to deal with yet another application to launch it? You know how Origin, Uplay force you to launch through them? I want to be able to cloud save gave and have it on my laptop as well but would prefer not to have a dedicated 2k launcher if possible.

                    Thanks,

I'd assume you would just get a Steam Key from them. Which you input into Steam to redeem the game.

                          Re: Worth it on PC?

                          Question for you PC faithful:

I have a GTX 750 (don't laugh, it has been a while [emoji38] ) which beats the minimum requirements for the video card but not by a ton. The last game I had was 2k17 for PC and there was a crowd bug that would stutter the game to heck until you turned it off. My thinking is that despite my great desire for the PC version, the age of my machine is making me want to just go for the PS4 and know it works, especially if the graphics aren't going to be that much better.

So I guess I have two questions. 1. Is the 750 going to be enough to noticeably beat a console (PS4 standard) or should I just go for the PS4 version? Strictly offline, so that doesn't matter to me.

                          2. Is the crowd bug fixed and are there any other stuttering bugs to be concerned with?

Thanks, the PC crowd is awesome, hate it I just can't keep up with you folks anymore.

#2 in your program, #1 in our hearts. You will be missed, Red.

I have a 750TI and it plays fine for me. 60fps on the court with I think only reflections turned off. And I haven't experienced any sort of crowd bug that caused stuttering, so maybe that was just last year?
