Shotgun/Hail Mary Playbook glitch

Does anyone know how to create a custom playbook and not have all the shotgun formations you add go under 'hail mary'?

I'm sure there's something I'm missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I delete formations I leave 1 shotgun formation and haven't had an issue.

Does it matter what formation you leave? I always leave a 2 te set because that's what I want first in my playbook. If you're on PS4 I can upload a playbook that has 1 singleback and shotgun formation of your choice.

Read below and if you have any questions, give me a shout and I will try to help. I have never experienced the issue you are having. I would delete the playbook you're trying to build and start over. Hail Mary is a situation that is selectable and should not be auto-copied.

The only issue I've run in to is that it will cause major problems if you try to use the formation the default Hail Mary play is in regarding your custom book. Good luck.

The best solution I've found is to save the PB frequently after making a few changes. I saved the PB under different names for each save after I made a few changes (including deleting/adding a few formations or plays). I have exceeded Madden's size limit for the Shotgun formation (somewhere between 26 and 28), so I have about 4 formations under hail mary. Prior to adding more SG formations, my custom PB listed all of them properly.
