Player randomly changing shots in midair

Does anyone else see this when playing? This happens to me all the time, and it always results in me either missing the shot, or the shot being blocked. I am not triggering the switch manually; my player just decides to change his shot for no reason. It usually happens if my timing is late. It happens mostly on shots around the basket. I have no idea why it's happening, and it's happening often enough to completely ruin the game for me.

I briefly mentioned this in the PNO thread. For whatever reason, I'm getting some odd animations around the rim and in the paint. The game is not playing the same as it did on release day. This is about to become another reason why people are not going to create bigs in the My Player connected modes.

EDIT: If you want the honest to God truth, I'm starting to see weird gameplay animations in general. Played a quick game last night, and I swear that I saw the ball start to roll out, but it changed trajectory mid-air to become a made shot after it bounced off the rim and looked like it was ready to become a rebounding opportunity. Can't confirm or deny if all this started happening after the patch.
