Wow still no roster update.Most games get weekly updates with a couple of player likeness updates.Hockey is lucky to get a monthly roster update and I believe we may have got 2 player scans after release in the last 5 years.Sucks to be a hockey fan.But I do still love the game.

If you wanna play with your team, then play with the current rosters in Season Mode and when the roster update drops, start your franchise. Just my two cents....

Maybe this Friday? I think the NHLPA has different rules than the NFLPA. I just hope it's a good, comprehensive update, maybe with some new player face scans.

Would be awesome if EA took the time and brought out a roster editor to their studios for a week so that person can get out a very in depth first roster update. Diving into moves, lines, numbers, captains, equipment etc. Have that editor work with the traditional roster guy and I bet we would get a fantastic update.

Unfortunately, I feel like a lot of you are going to be disappointed when the first roster update comes out, as a bunch of the 20-21 year old prospects will disappear for the time being.
If I recall correctly, the first CHL/Euro roster update typically happens at the end of October/early November.
Sure, you're going to get the prospects that make their debuts, but the depth of the roster gets ripped apart with the first one.

They know we have asked for a roster share since this gen consoles and they acknowledge for at least 2 years that they know we want it but they never address exactly why they don’t give it to us. BizarreComment

It's likely because they know that there aren't enough significant quality upgrades to each year of NHL that there is in other games.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying 19, and the little things like fog of war and custom rosters for expansion are making it quite enjoyable, but if they had roster sharing and released as similar of a product next year as they did this year, I'd just roll with whatever great rosters some of the fine folks around here would come up with, and I'd hold out on buying the next one a lot longer.2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment
