I restarted about 4 different franchises before I settled on the Raiders. The schemes thing for me is kinda cosmetic. Like I run a base 4-3 QTRs scheme alas MSU style and there’s know scheme tailored specifically to that. So I basically just get the kinda players I want. I base out of 4-3 normal and create my own 4-3 under by sliding my line weakside and manually control and Will backer. And just find players who can play zone defense well. I wish they allowed us to choose the kinda players we wanted instead of auto generating the type for the scheme. It’s too many ways to play defense and too many things to scheme around for a user to be boxed in.
