The Offline Corrupted Save Issue

I'm collecting feedback SPECIFICALLY about the Offline Corrupted Save Issue. I know about the other thread, but I'm asking for a few things from those of you that have had the issue:

What console?
What is the code you get (if it crashes the console)?
What year/week is your franchise is in?
How many teams do you control?
Did you use custom draft classes? If so - which ones and what years did you use them?

I know there have bee theories on what is wrong, but I'm asking specifically for the information above.

It appears that it has been fixed, either intentionally or via another fix that was related.



It was definitely related to custom classes, thus far the threads indicate it's not been an issue since the recent patch.


If I am mistaken, someone feel free to correct me, I haven't started CFM yet.

I am on PS4 and used multiple custom draft classes and would get this glitch every time. Since the most recent update, I have made it into year 2023 on my Franchise. So I agree, I think this was possibly fixed?

Has it been fixed for people who started their franchise prior to the recent patch? Or just for those who have started one since the latest patch?

Old saves seem to be fine. Obviously files that are already corrupted are toast.

Excellent, I’d started losing interest in my franchise as I’m at the end of year 3 and figured it was about to all come crashing down.

Now I can continue on happily!

My initial crash was on the PS4 in week 1 of year 2022. While I only controlled my Niners I moved around a couple of teams in like year 3 and I used a custom draft class every year leading up to my file corruption. Luckily I always keep several saves and I had a save in the off season right before my 2022 crash. Since the last patch, Ive used this save and am now 8 weeks into 2022.

- No code just game freeze then dashboard when I attempt to load the save.
What year/week is your franchise is in?
- 3rd/4th year I believe like week 4/5.
How many teams do you control?
- just the Ravens
Did you use custom draft classes? If so - which ones and what years did you use them?
- Yes, for everywhere in Franchise. Real2019, Real 2020, etc I believe.


Will you guys be able to fix or recover the save files or am I SOL?

A file that is corrupted is gone - patches don't fix that.


The problem corrupting the files seems addressed, so it shouldn't happen in the future.

What year/week is your franchise is in? 2023 and after. Ran multiple tests. Occurs every week starting in 2023. Continuing into 2024
How many teams do you control? 1
Did you use custom draft classes? If so - which ones and what years did you use them? No custom draft classes, no editing, did not even open to look at them.

I have run a total of 17 simulations with 14 different teams. I can provide more in depth information on each simulation and more specifics if you need.

My PS4 fixed itself, but now my PC version started doing it, after the last update. I though maybe it was running low on disk space, so I am freeing up space now, and attempting to move the game to an external ssd and just run it off that. Otherwise, Modden 20 still works great.
