The SD vs Raw stuff this year will be interesting given that so far it isn't Shanes show vs Stephs show. And some title pictures are up in the air. Corbin vs Paige? That isn't a GM battle people will care about. I hope they do add some meaning to the SS. Like the winning brands commish wins power over both shows. Or if they do GM stakes, have the losing brands GM end up being fired.

The traditional SS matches are going to suck. I'm just gonna predict that.

Styles vs Lesnar again. It will be a fine match, but the outcome is meaningless, and we've seen it before.


That's kind of the trend of this PPV now. Interesting matchups, but since the only thing on the line is Raw vs Smackdown bragging rights, it's hard to care much.

At least we won't have to hear, "this is the only time we'll see Raw vs Smackdown," from Michael Cole over and over. Right?

You forget the part where he declares himself champion and then wins the Universal Championship, merges them, and becomes the intergalactic champion and goes on an undefeated streak twice as long as Golbergs before retiring as champion.

Before he does that though, he defends the title in a 200 man Royal Rumble and wins it from spot 1 and singlehandedly eliminates every competitor.

Becky/Rousey has to be a non finish, right? They've really booked themselves in to a corner with that one. I don't think Rousey is losing yet and Becky is the hottest person in the company

I know it would take a lot of story telling for them to get to this point, but my first thought was what if they did something kinda like Kairi sane vs baszler, have all of Ronda’s girls there watching front row, Becky ends up fighting them, and the girls jump her, Sasha and Bayley come make the save, but then baszler appears and it’s 4 on 3 before Charlotte makes the save. You then have your 4 v 4 even tho this is the pay per view for that kinda thing, but you can put it on the back burner while also having it planted in the minds of everyone. Just like the face off at the Mae young classic. Hardest part to come full circle is Ronda is a face and the other 3 are heels, and then Becky is on bad terms with Charlotte so why would she make the save, unless she says she didn’t save her, she was helping Sasha and Bayley

I think this is something they do at some point. But not yet. Like you said you need to flip Ronda to full heel. And I don’t think you can screw with Becky as a heel as she’s is absolutely the hottest thing they have going. I think the match has to have a non finish. Neither one can lose to the other right now.

The women's match should have an unclean finish. I wouldn't even mind Rousey losing just to get it out of the way.

Tamina and Nia coming in and attacking Rousey before Becky rolls her up and uses the ropes. That finish would be fine. Rousey loses, builds for her next feud, doesn't take anything away from her, and Becky continues her heel tactics.
