The last time I remember emotion being a individual skill in 2K it determined what type of reactions players would have to calls. To be honest 2K should bring it back in exchange for the automatic mid-game celebrations every player has by default. This could also add another layer to the atmosphere of playing 2K, plus the auto celebrations are just annoying most of the time.
