1) .first of all let me start by saying IMUHBOXER'S pre fight breakdown with stats of each fighter is welcome addition very very good . He made the commentary on the tournament very technical .
2) A lot guys picked Jacare ...like a lot . I was kind of surprised but then again since the his fight against Weidman . Dude is obviously a beast now .
3) I really gotta to give it to Ricky J to be honest I really didn't think he could beat MM . I mean I haven't watched his commentary of the fight on his channel to get an insight on his thoughts but man it was a huge upset in my eyes .
4) stay close to zabit ...I can't exactly recall who the players were but I think it was zabit against Ortega or max Holloway. I forget. But dude had to stay close to zabit to negate those front side kicks . Zabit still won though . He kept missing on those showtime kicks tho .
4a) the front side kick is a grapplers best friend now as it isn't susceptible to a catch kick . Kick em to the cage and go for the take down .
5) I really was expecting kinetic to win . I'm lost as
to why he picked another fighter other than his customary McGregor . It didn't seem to me like he was in the combo zone with the 4 piece hits like he hits you twice with one hand and all that almost impossible striking ...Dude is definitely a monster but I don't who picked the weight class . But props to Adavita . But I think dude should rematch kinetic on Xbox tho .
6) Kudos to the devs for making submissions a lot more successful ... When I was watching the tournament I couldn't help but think how far the game has come from the day one release till today . They have really done their best to balance striking and grappling.
7 ) Anti grappling go to move now seems to be don't let your opponent posture up and just be patient until the refs stand you up .
8) WTF was sharrif thinking very poor stamina management .
9) I wish there was more promotion and publicity on ESFL and other EA UFC tournaments but it seems like the popularity of the tournaments are capped by the real life popularity of MMA in general .
10)If you are struggling with striking or mechanics definitely go check out these fights or note the players names and if they have a you tube channel go watch em .
